James E. Hester, age 93, of Benton, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018. He was born February 16, 1925 to Embie Benton and Lucile Holwell Hester.
He was a long-time member of First Baptist of Benton and was retired from Weyerhaeuser.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Gary Hester.
James is survived by his wife, Kyle C. Hester, of Benton; and his son, James M. Hester.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home 306 S. Main Street (501)315-4047 with Pastor Rick Grant officiating. A time of visitation will begin an hour prior to service time at 9:00 a.m. Private burial to follow in Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs.
