Charlene Hollis Lovett, 82, of Lake Village died Sunday, December 31, 2006, in Bryan, Texas. A native of Crossett, a resident of Lake Village for many years and a former resident of Montrose, she was a surgical nurse at the Crossett and Lake Village Hospitals for many years before retiring in 1969.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Seaman and wife Dianne of Lake Village and Reggie Seaman and wife Loretta of Hempstead, TX; two brothers, Lavanghn Hollis of Hope and John Hollis of College Station, TX; a sister, Dosha Harrell of Harrell; four grandchildren, Dina Wilson of Spring, TX, Michael Seaman of Bryant, Clayton Seaman of Lake Village and Becky Seaman Black of Bastrop, LA; and five great-grandchildren, Meredith & Morgan Wilson, Madelyn & Shelton Seaman and Lyndsay Black. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Lovett, in 1993; her parents, Charlie & Eula Sivils Hollis; her step-mother, Adele Hollis; and a brother, Cecil Hollis.
Grave-side services and burial were at 1 p.m., Friday, January 5, in Pinewood Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Joey Meredith officiating. Pallbearers were Jimmy & Reggie Seaman, Andy & Alan Riels, and Pete & Charles Hollis. Funeral arrangements were by Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home, Hamburg. Online guest book at www.jones-harts horn.com
