General:

Funeral services for Janice Ann Treese, 85, of Florien, LA will be held on Thursday November 1, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, LA with Rev. Brady Anderson and Bro. Stuart Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery in Florien, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 31, 2018 beginning at 5:00 pm at Warren Meadows in Many, LA.

Jan was born on January 27, 1933 in New Orleans, LA and passed away on October 28, 2018, after a lengthy illness, in the hospital in Leesville, LA.

She loved the Lord and loved her church. If you ever met Jan, you loved her. She never met a stranger and loved everyone with her whole heart. She loved her family and enjoyed every minute spent with them. She loved to dance, play bingo, and run the kitchen at the VFW Hall.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of twenty-six years, James Leggett; second husband of twenty-six years, Robert Treese; daughter, Pamela Douglas; mother and father, Loisel Scioneaux and Stella LeBlanc Scioneau; and her sisters and brothers.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Wanda Rhodes and husband Richard of Hornbeck, LA; sister, Gail Jacobs and husband Gerald of Donaldsonville, LA; brother, Joe Scioneaux of Donaldsonville, LA; step-daughters: Rita Lewing and husband Rue of Many, LA, Margaret Nixon and husband Bill of Florien, LA, Debbie Perser and husband Larry of Florien, LA and Reba Lane of Many, LA; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Brady Anderson, Cade Martin, Dakota Eason, Tyler Martin, Dillon Nixon and Hunter Nixon.

Honorary Pallbearers: Eugene Rhodes, Stephen Martin, Stuart Martin, Bruce Dugan and Cody Craft.
