Mrs. Lola Mae Woods Jackson, 99, of Waco, Texas, who was born March 11, 1904 in Ashley County, died Thursday, January 8, 2004, at the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. A resident of Waco for the past eight years and for many years a resident of Hamburg, she was a retired registered nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church in Waco.She is survived by two daughters, Ann Bachman of Bristol, TN, And Bonnie Person of Hamburg; o ne son, Richard H. Jackson and wife Dora Lynn of Waco; one sister, Marie W hite of Fountain Hill; a sister-in-law, Brucie Woods of Cape Girardeau, M O; eleven grandchildren, 28 eight-great grandchildren and a number of niec es and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. Jackso n, in 1975; one grandson, Ed Bachman; and her parents, John L. and Will ie Watkins Woods. Pallbearers were to be Harold and Danny Jackson, Thom and David Person, Ch arles White, Dennis Thurman and Dave Bachman. Honorary pallbearer w as to be John Marvin Woods.
