General:

AJ attended 6th grade in Conway, Faulkner, AR. The family might have lived there about 2 years.

A. J. Dolby, 78, of North Little Rock, a retired accountant, died Sunday. Dolby was a deacon of Pike Avenue Baptist Church and member of Corder Bible school class. Funeral will be at 10AM Wednesday at North Little Rock, Funeral Home by the Rev. Jess Whitley. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the church mission fund, PO Box 96, North Little Rock, 72115. Survivors are his wife, Wilkie Frost Dolby; a son, Gene Dolby of Grand Blanc, MI, a daughter, Annette Hester of Little Rock; and four grandchildren.

Medical:

Guillain Barre in 1976, fully recovered; quadruple heart bypass surgery in 1986; diagnosed with colon cancer in April of 1988 and 3 months later it was determined that it was already in the liver.
